Lois Brown Easton is Director of Professional Development at Eagle Rock School and Professional Development Center in Colorado. An English/language arts teacher for fifteen years, she was Arizona’s first Writing Specialist. She has also been the Director of Curriculum and Assessment Planning for the state of Arizona and worked nationally as Director of Re:Learning Systems at the Education Commission of the States in association with the Coalition of Essential Schools.
