Norah Mallaney is a graduate of the Literacy Specialist Program at Teachers College and has worked as an instructor at TCRWP's Reading Institutes as well as a TA for several TCRWP Coaching Institutes. She taught in both public and charter schools in Washington, DC and Brooklyn, NY. Some of her favorite books to read aloud to her class are Sylvester and the Magic Pebble by William Steig and Dizzy by Jonah Winter. Norah spent countless hours soliciting recommendations from hundreds of literacy experts, and joining with colleagues to curate state-of-the-art libraries to bring all children the high-quality books they need and deserve in the classroom.
