Participants discuss how to establish an environment where students can take risks with their reading. They reflect on professional ideas and goals, then plan how to realize them.

Based on Jim Burke's Reading Reminders, the seminar improves teachers' confidence and effectiveness by ensuring they have the knowledge and strategies to give every student an equal chance at becoming a lifelong reader.
