Lesson Resources CD-ROM Update v5.0

PC Users

1. Remove the resources CD-ROM from your computer and discard.

   NOTE: Installing the patch will not update your CD-ROM version. If you run the application from the CD-ROM, the new additions will not be visible. Please Discard the CD-ROM.



2. Click on the link below. You will be prompted to RUN or SAVE the file. Select SAVE and save to your computer.
3. Double-click on the .exe file that you downloaded, either LLIGreenPatch.exe, LLIOrangePatch.exe, or LLIBluePatch.exe. The installation will automatically begin.

   NOTE: You may need to contact your school's technical support department to run the .exe file for you.



4. Double-click the new shortcut to the resources application on your computer desktop.

Mac Users

1. Remove the resources CD-ROM from your computer and discard.

Data Management Software (DMS) CD-ROM Update v5.0

PC Users
We suggest backing up your data before running updates or entering a large amount of data. To do so navigate to:

C:\Program Files\FPLLI Data Management

Make a copy of the \DATA\ folder, and name it something like: DATA_BACKUP12-11-2010.

To install update:

1. Remove the Data Management Software (DMS) CD-ROM from your computer.

   NOTE: Installing the patch will not update your CD-ROM version. If you run the application from the CD-ROM, the new additions will not be visible.



2. Click on the link below. You will be prompted to OPEN or SAVE the file. Select SAVE and save to your computer.
3. Unzip the file.
4. Double-click on the file LLI_Data_Patch.exe. The installation will automatically begin.

   NOTE: You may need to contact your school's technical support department to run the .exe file for you.



5. Double-click the new shortcut to the resources application on your computer desktop.
