Vicki Vinton

Vicki Vinton is a literacy consultant who works in the New York City public schools and for school districts around the country. She is the coauthor of the Heinemann titles What Readers Really Do and The Power of Grammar. Under her full name Victoria Vinton, she’s the author of The Jungle Law, which People magazine called a “lyrical, elegant first novel.” In addition to her writing and consultant work, she has taught at Queens College/CUNY; the Steinhardt School of Education at New York University; and at workshop, conference, and institute settings nationwide.
